daddy - hello welcome to this episode of blog video news. this is our interview with wxyz the manatee. hello wxyz.
faz - wayyyyuuuuuuuuhhh.
daddy - can you speak english?
faz - yeah.
daddy - so you are a manatee. exactly how big are you?
faz - as big, well i'm a baby one but normal ones are as big as your vaaaaan.
daddy - as big as our van, wow. and what do you eat?
faz - sea plants.
daddy - mmmm, sea plants, that sounds tasty. those must be hard on your teeth.
faz - look at this here! it's a ship! uh-oh, there's a propeller on it!
daddy - a propeller on the ship, oh no!
faz - waaaayyyuuuuuhhhh!
daddy - you're acting agitated. is that propeller somehow dangerous to you?
faz - well, propellers on boats can kill manatees. they can chop right through you.
daddy - oh my goodness. that's terrible. thanks for letting us know, manatee. is there anything else we should know about you?
faz - weeeeellll, my flippers have little fingernails on them.
daddy - they do? i never would have imagined that. wowzers.
faz - so we can grab stuff with our flippers.
daddy - hey, you seem to spend your life underwater, but you need to come up to breathe. how do you sleep?
faz - well, you see we open up our nostrils, put them up over the water and then we go to sleep.
daddy - and then you go to sleep with your nostrils above the water. that's great!
faz - like this! mmmmmmmmmmmmmm. like that!
daddy - thanks manatee. is there anything else you want to say before we go?
faz - well. . . we do make great rides! ha!
