when bad forces good

"when bad forces good"
a star wars lego movie created by forest amitai

today's plot outline - another story about the astromech king

now back to the story of the astromech king. this is the king of the droids, the astromech with the spike on it's head. an astromech was created by chancellor palpatine [before he became emperor]. it met r2d2. then r2d2 made him king of the astromechs and crowned him with the spike. he is a jedi master now, and king. look below to see a picture of him battling with now-emperor palpatine in a battle between light and dark. see also one of the emperor's droids, a jawa and yoda. do you see the spaceship behind the astromech? that's a tie fighter.

make sure to stay in touch with my school blog. it will be awesome.

hey kids! do you think my school blog is fun? try making your own. ask your parents to help you! then tell me about it.

star wars theme on mario night

this is the best costume i ever got. it's a stormtrooper costume. look below. you might see a stormtrooper, but it is actually me.

my best set i ever made

look, i made up this cool set called the ace assault. the ace assault has a fire blaster, and three detachable weapons. see if you can spot them for yourself in the picture. jay the ninja is holding his green spear with spikes on it and his pet lightning-bolt named sparky.

i also invented another set called the destiny's bounty. i want to make a stop-motion movie with my sets.

electrician again

i installed a new light switch with only a little bit of help from daddy.

eat

we learned about food groups. here is a meal i made with toy food. it has all four food groups. and a cupcake.

visit from grandma lollipop

this picture is the best picture i've ever drawn. it was drawn with a window marker at night. look see. look look look. see see see. it is my grandma, surrounded by silly string. take a look-see.

we got a chalkboard

we found a big chalkboard on the side of the road. we put it on our wall. here are some pictures i drew.

a bird on a nest

papa is coming for a visit.  he is bringing us a new siskin.

rotta the hutt.  he is also called the huttlet.

pretend dentist

soleil had another dentist appointment today.  to help her get ready i pretended to be a dentist.  she laid down in a chair.  i put a heavy blanket on her.  then i took some pictures of her mouth with our camera.

self portrait

i took this picture of myself today at storytime.

spring

in our neighbours' yard we saw the first butterfly of the year.  it just finished migrating.  i think it is a monarch.

'b' is for bad

yesterday we went to province house to protest plan b. we made our own signs.  the government is moving the highway through the beautiful forest. many animals and people will lose their homes. lots of trees will be cut down.

today i went to beavers and discovered how to build

at beavers we made popsicle stick beaver lodges. i'm making mine a picture frame.

take the challenge

we got the family fun kids activity magazine. the art challenge was a gum sculpture. mine is a monster. i used three pieces of gum. i wanted to keep it forever but it got squished.

beach theme night

we made sand art at beavers. this is a portrait of daddy in his underwear.

this is me

mama and daddy want to give away a picture of me to everyone. i didn't like the one they picked. so i made my own. i am an ewok running away from something.

cams and cranks

papa gave me this simple machines building kit for my birthday. it comes with an activity book to learn all about cams and cranks. ted and i built the humanoid together, then daddy and i built the eagle.

craft-o-rama

i got a world explorer craft kit. so far i have made a chinese lantern and a dreamcatcher. i really want to make the papier-mache pinata next.

the dreamcatcher says "sweet dreams bus stop" because then the dreams will know that they need to stop above the bed and then get caught and they will be my dreams.

smoothie recipe

i made up my own smoothie recipe.

the three banana split

ingredients:
3 bananas
10 ice cubes
brain food [ground flax seed]
milk
1 scoop cocoa
1 capful of vanilla
some honey

mix together in blender.  enough for me and dae-dae to share.

try it and tell me how you like it.

jack-o-lantern

mama - what's your favourite part of halloween?
faz - dressing up. you get to pick out a costume. i'm going to be a which-what-who monster. don't worry, it's not scary. i made a cute mask.

mama - do you have any advice for pumpkin carvers?
faz - be careful. use basic shapes. don't draw anything smaller than your thumb. use a saw like on a swiss army knife. it works better.

mama - what is on your jack-o-lantern?
faz - a big lightning bolt and a zombie.
