faz: the sounds that no one can make.
daddy: if you mean what i think you mean, it's one of the mysteries of music, and what really drives musical development. you could play an instrument in a new way, or invent a new instrument.
faz: but what about sounds that are impossible to make?
daddy: there are electronic sounds that use different circuits, or you can sometimes create new sounds on the computer.
faz: but there are sounds that aren't people or computer sounds. like the wind. you can't make that. how do those sounds work?
daddy: you're right, some sounds like the wind or waves crashing or even animal sounds we just can't replicate or control. you can use a microphone to record anything. and then change it later. should we listen to some new sounds?
faz: yeah.
