i like this video. when i get a dog i want a pug mix named puggie. soleil and i will teach it to do tricks.

things i did by myself

1. changed a tire on bernie, our van
2. installed a light fixture
3. mowed the lawn
4. cut dandelions with the weed whacker
5. made lunch for our family (tuna sandwiches with veggies and dip)
6. painted a chair pink for my sister
7. washed the van
8. installed cupboard handles

i've been helping out the family.  daddy or mama supervised me and helped me with some parts.

roof day

we went to our friends house.  they live in an apartment on a roof.  i played with a cat using a laser pointer.  it was kind of like bullfighting - seeing how much time the cat could still stay on his feet and chase the light without catching it.

i wondered why cats like to chase lasers.  so we read this article.  then we played with the biomotion lab and learned about the wolfpack effect.  you should too.

busy

i built a nuthatch hatching station out of lego.  then i helped daddy at work, and went to play at a friend's house.  at beavers we made a mother's day bouquet and played a take-care-of-baby relay.

today

i prepared my own snack. i played lots of math games. we went out for supper and i got a spy kit, then i did all the activities.

beach fossils

we went to blooming point beach and collected rocks, shells and driftwood.  i found my first piece of sea glass.  and a walking stick.  maybe it was from the titanic.

thirsty work

at beavers we went to the dream park in cornwall.  we forgot water at home.  now i know why kids do not go for adventures in the desert.

what i'm thinking about today

harry potter lego goblins are really cute.  there is a set with goblins called Gringotts Bank.

at the library there is a book with all the harry potter lego, but we have to leave it in the reference section.
