today we played in the snow for a long time.  our neighbour made cardboard box sleds for soleil and me.  we pretended pokemon all day.  soleil is chimchar.  i am gible.

at storytime we used the 'little red riding hood' bag from the library to put on a play.

almost valentine's day

today i made valentines and decorated cookies.  i helped soleil read books.  i built a grasshopper droid out of lego.

- what was your favourite part of this book?
- ending. i like the end because they all cuddle together in the dream vault and go to sleep.

- is there anything you didn't like about the book?
- no.

- no, not even any characters.

- why do you think the scroggins parents were so awful?
- they have to be awful for the story to work. she wouldn't want to stay at the memory bank if she had nice parents.

- what room of the memory bank would you want to spend the most time in?
- the nursery. i would love to see all the memies (a person's first memory) being formed. i could take care of them and put them in their safe boxes.

- do you think final moment flashbacks are real?
- i think so. and i think that i will find out when i'm that old.

- which side of the war are you on?
- the remembering side. because i like to remember. remember remember.

- is there anything good about the clean slate gang? is there ever a good time to forget?
- maybe some horrible things. i don't know anything i want to forget.
